~ It's all about You! ~

Jesus, Lover Of My Soul (It's All About You)

It's all about You, Jesus
And all this is for You
For Your glory and Your fame

It's not about me
As if You should do things my way
You alone are God and I surrender
To Your ways

Jesus, lover of my soul
All consuming fire is in Your gaze
Jesus, I want You to know
I will follow You all my days
For no one else in history is like You
And history itself belongs to You
Alpha and Omega, You have loved me
And I will spend eternity with You

It's all about You, Jesus
And all this is for You
For Your glory and Your fame

It's not about me
As if You should do things my way
You alone are God and I surrender
To Your ways

This is the song, the song that echoes the heart, not just of mine but I believe the sea of people that are in Heart of God Church.

Truly, if there's anything, it has to be about Jesus!

When we live our lives, sometimes we have to take a step back and just look at it. There are times when we don't really realise that when we live, we don't live for ourselves only, but rather, we live for Christ. Isn't it true that for we live in Christ, and for Christ lives in us, and for we live with Christ, what we do actually reflects a lot about our relationship with Him?

Thus, when we live, let us live for Him, live a life that is fruitful and one that will bring glory to His name. It's not about me, it's not about us, for His ways are bigger than ours. Alpha & Omega, from the beginning to the end, He has loved us and never forsook us. Isn't God awesome?

Look at the lyrics. I don't need to talk about it any further, this is my heart...

Jesus, it's all about You!

~ a milestone ~

Today was a milestone! A milestone, for Heart of God Church! One that I know will be life-changing, not only for the lives of those churched but for many yet to come! God is accelerating this church and it's people in ways that we never really could comprehend, in ways that surpasses normal people's understanding!

1-3 was simply awesome as the whole church came together to pray for Zone G! When Pastor Lia told us to pray for the Zone, the Holy Spirit stirred me, cause I was something that I was actually thinking about and praying for in recent times. For the universities and also for the work forces, like the adults (especially the young adults)! When Pastor told us to use our eyes in our hearts to imagine and visualise many university people and work force people filling the seats of the church, it echoed a vision that I had of the church that I had sometime back. 1 that revealed the church having seas of university students and adults praising and worshipping God in all radicalness and fuelled with a fire that burns for God. With faith we were summoned, with faith we unite, with faith we will push! With faith, this vision will come to pass!

This was followed by a powerful worship led by Pastor Lia & 41st Day during service. It was so powerful that even as the power just blacked out, nothing could stop the hearts of all from worshipping God. Indeed, our lives & hearts are surrendered to God! It's so powerful that the evil one had to shut the power in an attempt to disrupt our spiritual lives and growth, but he is such a loser! What was done, was that it caused us all to press in even more into God's presence and connect deeper with the Holy Spirit! It was really such a powerful atmosphere that as the power outage went on, the voices of faith & worship permeated throughout the auditorium, and the spiritual atmosphere went up a even higher level!

Evil one, you're never going to beat HoGC! The more you try, the harder we'll press in, breakthroughs will build upon breakthroughs till the day you cringe up and attempt to hide from us whenever you see us. HoGC is built up by faith-filled warriors & soldiers of God! We will defend and fight for His purpose till the end and will all that we have!

The sermon built up the whole spiritual condition of everybody again as Pastor How preached about how the Holy Spirit is like oil and showed how it truly is a Helper to us. It helped me gain a deeper knowledge of how the Holy Spirit and revealed to me how truly God has equipped us so well to fight for His purpose, with His Word as our Sword and the Holy Spirit as our armour & Helper!

Therefore, we truly must grow and build our Spirits as Ephesians 5:17-18 shows us:

17"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints---"

The italic parts shows us just how we should use the Holy Spirit in our war for God and in building up our walk with our Father!

After the already powerful service, there was a gathering for the Zone G launch for all the new Zone G members. It was here that Pastor How shared with us pastors' heart and vision for Zone G. Surely, this was a breakthrough for HoGC as it was a step forward for the church, where a new dimension is added to it. Through it, new dynamics are added, and with it, there will definitely be new breakthroughs in grounds that were scarce.

Pastor How shared how our lives have four seasons and the age from 20-40 years old is the summer of everybody's lives. It is where there will be much pressures and pleasures to face. The question is whether we will succumb to those pressures and pleasures, selling out on God's higher calling on our lives. Pastor shared how it is that summer is where most people will go out to have lots of fun and its is also where harvest is most expected to be collected. What is expected is that we work hard for the harvest but also, we have to learn how to balance our lives so that we can enjoy the sweetness of life. So in essence, let us go out into the fields and be great fishers of men for the harvest is finally ripe for the taking, yet, let us enjoy the life that God has planned for you and not be too occupied with our work in this world.

Are you willing to give the best years of your life to God? I know I am!

It's all about choices and I know what my choice is. All along I've wanted to give more in life to work with the young people, from secondary to the ages of 25+ years, the establishment of Zone G is a sign. It's in a way, a path & journey that has been layed down before me to walk down that narrow way and live the vision given to me. Pastor's vision of reaching out to universities, young working adults, and for us to be like mentors for those to come, re-enforced the vision that I had. To reach out to youths, help them and bring God to them as it was done to me, to help them, mentor them, and for them to carry the torch and pass the fire on.

Zone G is a Zone in HoGC that will see many visions come to pass. It's Zone that will reveal breakthroughs that none expects. Faith, hope & love, will prevail in the lives of everyone in it and we will hold this passion high, passing it on to generations to come.

Pastor also shared John 12:24...

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."

All of us in Zone G gave our lives to be that grain, that grain willing to die so that more grains will be produced and emerge!

Pastor than gave us this hymn that echos out his heart to give the best years of his life to God...

At the end of it, he gave us a quote...

'He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose'
~ Jim Elliot ~

Zone G...

I will not be a fool that will cherish or fight for things that I know are temporal, in sacrifice for the greater and higher calling of God's ministry and purpose...

Never to let deprievation or insecurities stop me from totally giving the best years of my life to God.

I have made my choice.

I will give the best years of my life to God!

To fight His war, to live for His ministry, to die for His purpose!
